Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy Host Portland RNA

Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) hosted Portland Royal Navy Associations (RNA) annual dinner for the third consecutive year at the weekend.  The Academy is now one of the most sought after venues set on Dorset’s stunning World Heritage Coast offering uninterrupted views across Portland Harbour.

The award winning venue catered for the guests and welcomed guest of honour Bill Sivewright and his wife.  After dinner Bill, CEO of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, addressed those in attendance, emphasising the hard work of the Air Ambulance and spoke about their fundraising efforts.  Portland RNA’s own fundraising efforts have this year, so far, raised £600 which Bill accepted on behalf of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

John Tweed, Chief Executive of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, commented: “Guests at our world class venue enjoyed the evening while taking in the stunning water side views out across Portland Harbour towards Weymouth Bay framed by the Jurassic coastline.  The Academy’s flexibility, quality and fantastic value make it the perfect venue for all occasions from parties to conferences.”
