WEYMOUTH Amateur Boxing Club duo Brendan McNulty and Steve Alker-Hall maintained their fine form with impressive wins in their latest bouts.

Senior boxer Alker-Hall, 22, showed no mercy as he swept aside Andy Haron while representing the Western Counties in their match with the Army.

The seasider’s bout proved crucial as his unanimous victory, over four rounds, ensured overall success for the Western Counties.

Stable-mate McNulty, 13, ensured there was no revenge for opponent James Richards of Penhill.

McNulty defeated Richards at Weymouth’s Redlands tournament last month and he repeated that trick with a majority verdict in what proved a close contest on Portland.

Very Well done lads I am a Trainer at the club and know how hard they both work in the gym & out with running, Gym work and diet.

Steve has won all his Bouts so far for Weymouth Club, shame Brendon had injury as I feel he could have won Schoolboy Title this year maybe next he is still only 13 & still growing.

Well done lads and all the Training Team & not forgetting the Mum’s n Dads.
