TS Royalist, the square-rigged training ship of the Sea Cadet Corps preparing for sea just as the Weymouth lifeboat was returning from an exercise. Royalist had about 12 cadets on board and the departure was very well organised and disciplined, leaving the quay very smoothly with a 20mph easterly wind blowing. »
