Aidan Chapman - Master Baker

World class baker, Aidan Chapman, is arriving in Weymouth to develop his bakery. Weymouth will benefit from his fantastic bread-making skills that have seen his career take him from the best hotels in London, then re-building a small bakery in Bridport, to Weymouth via a project in Lyme Regis. Aidan has featured on Hugh Fernley Wittingstall’s television series, River Cottage on a number of occasions and this latest move will surely be a resounding success.

  2. Aidan’s new premises have now openned and are called The Phoenix Bakery and Cafe, the bread is delicious and the coffee is excellent. Along with all the usual tempting caked, scones and pastries that he makes, I’m sure this new venture will be a resounding success.

Went to Phoeniux bakery today and got a fabulous loaf. Saves me time from travelling to Bridport or Sherborne to find decent bread. Now all we need is a proper butcher!!!

On our holiday to Weymouth on our last day I found the phoenix bakery, standing outside I looked at the various breads and cakes that were in the window, i had to go in and have look, being a baker myself i was like a kid in toy shop!!!!!!! unfortunately Aidan was out taking his kid somewhere so did not get to talk. Good luck on the shop mate and keep it going i just wish we had something like that up here in the midlands!!!!
