Abbotsbury Gardens Halloween

Abbotsbury Gardens Halloween

The magnificent Subtropical Gardens at Abbotsbury will once again be floodlit every evening from 13th October to November 1st. The Gardens will open as normal at 10am but stay open until 8.30pm during this event. The floodlighting is turned on at dusk each evening.

This will be the twelfth year of the Enchanted Floodlit Garden event. Fabulous stunning Autumn
colours are magically uplighted with theatrical floodlighting creating exquisite colour filled avenues for visitors to walk along. The route through the garden is dominated by the architectural shapes and shadows of the exotic tree canopy, and is lined with candles in lanterns.

This very popular Autumn event is attended by many thousands of local people each year. A
highlight within the enchanted floodlighting are the special arrangements during Halloween. This
year three of the 19 nights, Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October have been devoted to HALLOWEEN. Visitors are invited to come in SPOOKY DRESS, witches will give out small prizes to the children, there will be FREE face painting for the children, A creepy Crawley bug display and A LASER RAVE SPECTACULAR.

The gardens are open from 10am to 8.30 pm during this event lights are turned on at dusk,
